A short distance from the castle of Castelsardo is the striking cathedral of Sant’Antonio, towering over the sea.
The colourful bell tower is decorated with beautiful majolica tiles. The bell tower, built by the Doria family in the Middle Ages, was initially intended as a lookout tower and lighthouse and was only later converted into a bell tower. The view from the cathedral square is breathtaking, and a little further down, there are scenic routes along the stone ramparts.
