Location
Location: Hotel Residence Rosa dei Venti is located in region Lu Bagnu, 3 km from Castelsardo, charming medieval town in the middle of the gulf of Asinara, known - during the domination of Doria - under the name of Castel Genovese (XII sec.) changed in Castel Aragonese (XV sec.) since the town was finally conquered by the Aragonese, and finally in Castelsardo. The sign of the passage of various historical eras can be seen in several monuments: the castle, the cathedral of Sant'Antonio Abate, the Franciscan church of Santa Maria delle Grazie, the town hall and its famous Domus de Janas "La roccia dell'Elefante". Lu Bagnu with its coastline of about 2km and free beaches interspersed by cliffs, is considered the Castelsardo Lido.
